Erika’s love affair with yoga began in San Francisco in 2012 under the teaching of Rusty Wells at Urban Flow. Her practice has taken her to India for a summer intensive, and most recently to Costa Rica to study at the School of the World with master teachers. She has practiced, taught, and trained in bhakti, vinyasa, hatha, bikram (only a student of), and power yoga. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2014 Erika has practiced under Bryan Kest, Rudy Mettia, Schuyler Grant, and currently calls Wanderlust Hollywood home.
Erika currently teaches a provocative power yoga class throughout the Los Angeles area and privately. Her teaching and classes are influenced by her love for athleticism, music, and movement.
Erika describes her style of yoga as provocative;
“Yoga for the body, every body.
 Yoga for the gypsy soul.
 Yoga for the senses.
 Yoga for the sexual and sensual”
Provocative Power Yoga invites the practitioner into a deeper way of being, on and off the mat with sultry music, intricate sequencing, sensual placement, powerful breath, conscious awareness, seductive movement, and intoxicating expansion. The flow is accessible to all levels of students, guiding the beginner and challenging the advanced, the rhythm of the music guides the flow of breath and movement, igniting inner empowerment and simultaneously encouraging suppleness . Opening the hips to allow access to emotional freedom of expression and opening the heart as to live in gratitude for the body. Provocative Power Yoga establishes foundational strength and flexibility, as well as heightening the capacity for mental focus. Provocative Power Yoga offers the sacred space to connect deeper with the Self, the space to detox and cleanse through a rigorous physical practice, and the space to become vulnerable and open, mentally and emotionally.
Provocative Power Yoga is a profound experience, whether in a class or in privacy.  Inquire for pricing and scheduling.
